Alright, so I recently bought this wonderful laptop from XoticPC, and I have been loving nearly all of its features over the past three weeks of ownership. I bought mine with a 6700k, and I have been undervolting it and ran a few stress tests this week to get the lowest voltage with complete stability. Anyways, my IEM's (Senn. IE80s) have had some use through the standard audio input. I fired up my laptop yesterday was surprised to hear that the right channel of my headphones was not being transmitted. I immediately tried a different pair of headphones and different devices and confirmed that it was not my IEM's that were at fault. I was (and still am) kind of puzzled to why only the right channel will not work. The left channel is at full volume and works perfectly. The onboard speakers work perfectly as well. Even so, I uninstalled the realtek drivers and re-installed with the newest drivers, but the issue still persists. I looked inside the port and all seems to look in place compared to the mic in and line out ports (in terms of the contacts). I air dusted the inside of the port out and opened up the underside panel and air dusted the area around where the audio ports are on the mobo. I still have had no luck with the right channel. I have looked into changing the registry to allow headphones to function by remapping one of the other ports, but I do not know if you can do that since I cannot see the pin numbers in the registry directory (there is no settings folder under 0000, where there usually is on most realtek devices). Just for clarification, I am running Windows 10, but this port has been functioning perfectly before and there have been no major changes in terms of new software, and I have already uninstalled the very few changes. Anyways, so I do not know if anyone else has experienced anything similar to this problem, but I am currently wondering what the issue is. My leading guess is that somehow the contacts on the mobo for that port might be damaged in some way, maybe caused by the small amount of stress testing I did a few days ago. It would really suck if this was the case since I would most likely need to send it the laptop for one month just to get a small port working. I would really appreciate if someone could let me know if there is a known workaround for using one of the other ports because that would be fantastic, but I understand if it cannot be done.

Hello, Sounds like an awesome build! Sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing. It sounds like you've used multiple headphones and all are not functioning properly on the device however they are functioning fine on other devices. If you've updated all the audio drivers and still no go, i don't know of a way to map the output to another port. Since this is the case i'm not sure of any other solution other than having it looked at under warranty. I would recommend reaching out to our support team so they can assist you in trouble shooting it and possibly setup an RMA.

Thanks, do you have a number I could call? I have called twice today and left a message earlier, but nobody has picked up the phone or responded back. Thank you.
