    Hello to everyone,
I have a Clevo P771DM with thunderbolt 3. I try to connect a Akitio Box PCI thunder3, the PC produces the classic sound when a device is connected, but the Box not work. No led status and the fan is stopped.

    Do you have any ideas?

    Thank you
    Regards

Inside there is a Blackmagic Decklink Extreme. I updated the thunderbolt drivers, while I have not found thunderbolt firmware update file. Could you help me?

    Thank you

You will need to contact your reseller for that.

Sure thing. There was a thread here a while back with some of the update firmwares. But they are very reseller specific, specially in Europe.

So you suggest me to upgrade the firmware using the link above. The program check if my system is compatible avoiding any problems, is it right?

Yep, try the one in the link, it won't flash if it's not compatible, and you need the newer TB 3 firmware otherwise TB 3 devices won't work

It doesn't show up in your programs list. It should install and then run at Windows startup

You should get an Icon down by the clock for the control center

Did you look in 'Programs & Features' to see if the 'Control centre' is installed? If it doesn't show in there then it's not installed

Yes It's present in Apps and Features. I installed new firmware, but I have the same problem with Akitio Box PCI.

Are you sure you updated the firmware? I'm pretty sure you should have information in the bottom section of the 'Details' window, like the one shown in the second post of the firmware thread. If you don't have the information in the bottom then that tends to mean it hasn't been updated

But you have information missing. If you look at the second post on the update thread you can see how it's supposed to look after the update.

Try turning the laptop off, unplug from the mains & remove the battery for a few minutes.

Also what TB driver software do you have installed?

Do you get any errors initially when you run the firmware setup?

    Hello community

I read both threads regarding the thunderbolt firmware update, i have a clevo p771dmg, but the downloads are gone from clevo website and i don´t know what to choose, I have BIOS version 1.05.09, my thunderbolt appears like this https://www.dropbox.com/s/v53mcxr7nctf2b6/1.png?dl=0 and i cant know if can have the Akitio Node that i want to buy....

Another thing that i noticed, is that my BIOS says that my notebook is P755dmg, but i´m pretty sure it´s the P771dmg

I´m looking for somebody with a P771DM-G with the necessary files for me to update, is there anyone please?

    Thank you in advance
