It has blown the GTX 1080 five times now and the motherboard once, each time I send it back to PC specialist the just replace the parts and send it back to me. After it blew the the GPU the fourth time I delidded the 7700K and replaced all thermal paste throughout with conductonaut and the temps dropped from 91 C down to around 75 C but it still blew the GTX 1080 when i ran furmark after 20 seconds on plugged in power. Although it was fine when running on battery power for 3 cycles for 30 minutes.
I don't know whats wrong with this system and I think PC Specialist are just selling me down the river until my warranty expires, so any help is much appreciated.

First, dont run power virus applications on notebooks.

Second, has this been on the same PSU/Wall outlet?

So don't run furmark on notebooks to stress test rgr.
Using pass mark benchmarks it would fail after 10 seconds of each test and then recover it did run the dx11 space ship test for about a minute before the machine black screened and is now a very expensive brick.

The 330w power brick has been replaced once its usually used off the same wall socket but has failed on other sockets too.

Is it all in the same house? You have 4 steps in power filtering.

House -> power brick -> motherboard -> GPU

Since the last 3 have all been replaced I'd consider the house.

For now it does sound like the GPU is not in good shape.

I've ran workstations and servers through a UPS where I'm running off a dirty generator but have never had to do this before in a UK mains domestic setting. If it is dirty power causing the GPU to fail would other components not fail as well?
I was thinking that the laptop is overpowered for a 330 Watt power supply and 32gb Ram, a 7700k, and a gtx 1080 was causing issues in the power architecture. That said micro electronics and power dynamics isn't my area of expertise.
What would you recommend for filtering power for a laptop?

I mean a filtering ups would do the trick for sure and yes should not be required but the other option is some sort of cascade failure with the replacement getting damaged and then damaging the other when it is replaced.
