    Hello there,

    i have buy a P775DM3 with dsanke Bios 1.07.26 and a RTX 2070 8GB installed CPU is a i7 8700 (nonK)
it was already modded. Power supply is a 330W original Clevo Unit.

I have 2 Problems that i dont understand.

The RTX 2070 is on Boost with 1440 Mhz(GPU-Z) and Clocks to 1935Mhz in Games, so long to Hit the Thermal Limit and the Power limit then clocks slightly lower to 1670 (Cyberpunk) and 1850 Mhz (CSGO). Temparatur is even in this condition on 87° this is the Bios Temp Limit. read it Out with Mobile pascal TDP Tweaker.
I Dont edit this bios. TDP Limit is 115W (bios), this shows GPU-Z in Sensors Tab on Load with 115-120W.
Is this Normal`?`My Old 980GTX in a XMG u505 didnt hit anytime the Thermallimit and didnt goes over the Boost clock.

Second question. The i7 8700 clocks on all cores to 4,3ghz in Desktop Full Powermode, In Games like CGSO or Fallout it cames to menu with 4,3ghz and clocks to 3,2ghz ingame. it didnt Boost anymore.
Only with Throttle stop i cant hold the Boost on 4,3ghz.(Max Powerconsumption 110W)
TDP Limit in is 125W temps are ok with 70-80° and HWinfo say no Limit has Hit. Only 2 Limits was hit.
The Max Boost Core clock (4,3Ghz thats i Think normal) and IA: Turbo Attenuation (MCT) if the Second one triggerd the CPU clocked to 3,2gz and didnt boost anymore. u go out of Game and the Core boost again to 4,3Ghz for no reason.

    thx and greets jeeare

Modern GPUs basically boost until they hit temp or power limits.

The standard TDP of the 8700 non K is 65W so after the turbo window has expired it will reduce down to that as per intel spec.

I have disabled the Powerlimit of 65W they have now 125W.
My Old i7 4790S with 65W didnt throttle, he boost in all games to 3,9ghz without hitting a limit.

HW Info and Other Tools show if a Limit Hit, but in this case no limit ist hit.

    Running Cyberpunk without Throttle Stop

The grey line are going up in Desktop and in Game Menu (low GPU Consumption)

If you go onto the graph options (little spanner at top right of graph) you can add in throttle reasons. Make sure they are not going in and out.

Also what windows power profile are you on?

i have checked, no limits are hit. HWiNfo shows Many more reason thats can throttle the cpu speed, but no one of this are hitting.

Windows is now in Balanced power mode, but it make no difference on balanced or high perfomance.

    Thx for ur patience :)
