    Clevo P775TM1 old MXM3.0B Support ?

    hello dear community

    have been looking for an answer for that for a long time now...

    i have a one gaming clevo P775TM1 unlocked bios with gtx 1070 (i7-8700) that sadly showing artifacts and its dying slowly but i have also a new clevo gtx980m 8gb mxm 3.0b card that i wanted to install on this clevo..
    the 980m would definitely be enough for me and don't want to buy a new 10 series card for now...

    I think that should be technically possible right? I just don't want to install it and suffer damage so i need to know if something like this would work...

    the heatsink i have now is the b version cpu and gpu is separated....

    hope someone can help on this ;)

    As long as you make the heatsink fit the 980m will work with an inf mod.

    Hey thanks for that info i just realized that my gtx980m was a msi version so it not booted up, just installed that one on my msi laptop
    I got faulty clevo gtx970m from my friend that booted up properly but showed green lines

    But I as you told i need a modded inf files for it

    Lets see how it goes....

    Sry guys i was very busy the last weeks

    After all i found a good deal for a 1060 card so i will sell the faulty 1070 here soon...
