Been lurking these forums for almost 8 years, but have never posted. So here's my first post.
I'm on the market for a new laptop, and have been considering this laptop: Clevo P775TM1-G. Has anyone have any experience with previous models and desktop processors throttling (especially the K series). What's your experience like? Would it help if instead of pairing a K series processor (8700K) with a 1080 I go for a 1070 or a 1060? Or maybe would getting a Clevo P870TM-G model with the same configuration help with the throttling and thermals?
Thanks in advance for all the help.

You can maintain full stock clocks under high load, but on "overclock" fan setting (high ramping up above 75°C). For very high load or overclocking you must delid your CPU.

I don't have delidded CPU, but I saw, that this can lower temps on about 10-15 degrees.
And one major information - I strongly recommend undervolting. With small performance drop, power consumption of CPU drops about 25% (4,2GHz, -100mV UV).
Clevo P775TM1-G throttling issues have been resolved?
