So after my laptop was ¨working¨ for a few months the GPU finally died died so I decided to replace it with a AMD Firepro m6100 Dell Precision MXM until I can get a new card.
https://picclick.com/Dell-Precision-M6800-M6600-M6700-AMD-FirePro-M6100-272902889880.html
I got the card wanted to test and see if I can at least post and nothing happened black screen and fans spin just like before and no beeps.
So I assembled the parts, got new thermal paste, and got a new screen,
1440p 120Hz B173QTN01.2.
I get a black screen, the backlights come on, the fans both spin automatically but the CPU fan comes on before the GPU fan.
When I do the FN+D trick all that happens is the is the laptop turns off and on.
I tried taking out the CMOS battery waiting a few minutes then turning it on
I have also tried reseating the RAM, changing ram slots.
I took out the hard drives, battery and only booted off the Plug in adapter nothing has changed.
The GPU I bought in New condition so it can´t be the GPU
It might be the bios but I don´t know when I had the 1060 it worked until it just suddenly turned off and I could not turn it back on so I replaced it but the conditions haven´t changed.
Don´t know if the motherboard is dead as the fans spin on their own but the screen stays black.

I personally havent seen any Dell cards working on Clevo laptops. Only MSi, not saying it will never work, just havent seen it.
Bought in "new condition" doesnt mean much, especially when said card debuted in 2013 (m6100).
Doesnt seem like you completely drained the battery although you kind of got close to doing that. Pull CMOS and battery, turn on laptop a few times (with no power) and leave overnight, turn on (without power) a few times and see if there is any change.
Going to want to stick with known functioning cards into your clevo that it is known to function with when you are trying to troubleshoot. -
The way I see things...
1. you have an incompatible GPU (Amd Gpu will never work with P870 series due to incompatible EC)
2. you have an incompatible display installed (you will need a bios mod, or dsanke bios mod flashed for that display to post)
Solution. Get an inexpensive native supported GPU (gtx 970m), and see if it works with B173QTN01.2.rockman1216 likes this. -

It was just a temporary test card was planning on upgrading to something much more powerful that's why I got the screen. -

At least the fire pro cards don't use a funky packaged BIOS chip.

This is what I bought on eBay
It's a Red Card -

Good point, it is 8 years old.

In conclusion, stop trying all sorts of Gpu`s in hope of compatibility and buy a proper one for that laptop. Or do like me and do the mod or find someone to do it for you. I guarantee it`s worth it.

Or just slam a 3070 in there

Also get a heatsink, it is a bit involved and not cheap...
