I have a problem with my Clevo P870DM-G the power cable is very loose, it doesn't stay in the laptop. I can have the thing on a table and any jitter the power cable becomes unplugged.

Not sure what to do with that

Depends on the side that's loose, either motherboard or psu. Either way a replacement would then fix it.

IIRC there's a little plastic collar inside the jack that helps secure the connection. If that's broken, you'd need a new jack (or motherboard, if the jack can't be sourced).

Well now this computer can't turn on anymore it's turning on and off in flashes now.

No screen boot and I'm not sure what to do anymore.

The on button lights up and the rest of the buttons next to it light up, but after that boom nothing.
All the backlights turn on in a flash then nothing happens after that.

    Screen stays black

Try a CMOS reset first. Either try holding Fn+D as you power it on or remove the CMOS battery under the keyboard for 30 seconds.

If that doesn't work my guess would be the GPU, which one do you have? 980M?

Does it do the same on battery? Does it charge the battery when off?

Maybe power cycle it? You can reseat the RAM while you're at it. Would be tragic if it turned out to be hardware failure.
