I'd look into getting an estimate from a repair shop and then decide whether it's worth getting it repaired. Or if buying another card would be a cheaper option.

Alright so I've decided I'm going to try the heat gun method might as well.
So I live in Calgary, Alberta have a Home Depot near me I should be able to rent the tools as.
Apart from a heatgun though I'd like to know which heat gun I should use.

Any other tools besides that, and what procedure I should follow apart from of course heating up the card for 5 minutes.

Unless I can get a 1060 class performance card for incredibly cheap I'll do the heat gun method in hopes of salvaging the card if it doesn't work then RIP my laptop.
