If some of the websites are down or no longer have Clevo notebooks on offer, we should remove them from the list.

Every single website on my list is up to date (in my current time of speaking) but those old threads have a lot of resellers that have either been bought out, gone out of business or gone bankrupt; sadly.

I've got everything up to date  so far that is.

I've found that in UK on pc specialist the price of Clevo p150 is very good at the moment. Start at £898 inc vat around 1000 euros. Plus you can make the same configurations like malibal and xoticpc. Even I think now is cheaper to buy it from pc specialist than other places.

Plus to add another seller in Spain PORTABLE WS - MOUNTAIN Starting price 1200 euros inc vat. The problem there is that they seep only to Spain, Portugal and France but I'm not sure about that, so someone have to confirm it.

Appreciate it, thank you Scott from PWNPC :)

I've always wanted a thread like this, and givin' the different options that the European resellers have got I though that people would be glad to have the greater ability to choose from a resellers of their own choice.

Could anyone give feedback about any of the resellers in Germany? Deviltech seems to have the best prices but I read on these forums once that they are to be avoided at all costs. Could anyone please share their experiences?

Nexoc: Great communication and support- bought a M571TU from them. They were always responding fast.
Hawkforce: Sorry to say, but not good. Got my X7200 from them, and they imported it from Eurocom. Sold me ES graphic cards. Many months passed till the laptop was finally in the condition it should be. To stay fair: I know that Hawkforce has a good reputation in Germany, read some of the german forums, nearly all are satisfied with them. So I guess what you can learn: If you deal with them, make sure there is nothing imported from Eurocom.
One.de: Once ordered a laptop and canceled a few days later- they responded fast and I got my money back extremeley fast. So nothing bad to say about them!
PC-SystemsEvolutionX: Got a barebone P170HM from them and some graphic cards. Really always nice and helpful, responding fast. Highly recommended.
MySN: Never dealt with them, but had some questions about their products etc., got responses very fast!

About the other I can´t say anything, never dealt with them.

Hi! sorry for my little english (i from Barcelona)

I have an issue with a Clevo M77cu model.

I buyed from pcw.fr , but i read in the CLEVO news page of taiwan that this shop cant use the name of Clevo officially.

I bought my laptop in june 2010. Temps are controlled and never use the laptop for stress the GPU with games or CAD, etc.. 2 weeks ago i see random
white screen, that dissapear when i down the lcd and up again.

I have send many emails to pcw.fr and seems nobody like read my problem. I think is a BAD reseller. I can inform to CLEVO.

Now i have black screen with 1 long beep and 2 short beeps (in the external vga and hdmi , black screen too).

If i press F1 "resume" the OS loads normally, i type my password and load ok, all this with black screen.

I think is a problem of bad contacts to the MOBO of the GPU ATI 4570 soldered, because the thermal changues.

Actually the leadfree soldering that´s used in all process of soldering since 2006 ROHS laws is the main problem, because dont have lead or silver, and make the soldering very RIGID and easy CRACKS the unions.

I can do reflow for test and then send to reball.

Where i can buy a new MOBO at good price and not refurbished?

WHY is HARD find spare parts of CLEVO notebooks?

    THANKS for YOUR ATTENTION

Well let me answer that for you: We began as a retailer strictly for the german market and it took us many years until we spread our business across our european neighbours. But until then our online shop system was already standing firmly. We programmed the website and the underlying shop and configuration system ourself many years ago but unfortunately did not make it ready for multilingual content. Fully translating the website into English without ditching the German part however requires a major rewrite of the whole system. And (don't worry) we are working on this.

Up until now most of our european customers did not have a lot of trouble ordering their notebooks. We have good English speaking customer support via phone and mail and picking the base model and the actual components is largely language independent. We offer English translations (on the EN tab of each site) for the most important stuff (like payment methods, general terms and conditions) so there shouldn't be any deal-breaker.

But let me stress it anyway: we are working on a rewrite and it's going to include a LOT more new features than just multi-language support. (yes we are excited!)

Now about the credit cards: Well, credit cards are just not common in Germany. Don't ask me why, I'm sure there are some historical reasons. This doesn't mean we'll never include them, who know's. Maybe we will add credit cards in the future.

Did you know you can already use your credit card to pay via PayPal in our store?
[edit: And the individual transaction fee with PayPal is lower than in the case of using a credit card with us in Germany..]

And of course we will offer the P170EM and it's going to be no later than other resellers. But unlike a few of our competitors, we are respecting the Intel NDAs. That's why you don't see the P170EM (aka XMG P702) yet in our shop. But you will see it when the chipset NDA is falling. The barebones are already in stock........ *hint* *hint*

Will it be available as soon as the new models are? What about a 17.3" version? Will it also be an A series or will it be a P (if there is one)? That is one seriously good looking laptop

As far as I know, the Roccat ver. will be the new P502 PRO. So P series it is.

Regarding the 17.3" version, well that's the current A701, which will be refreshed later too to a A702 w/ only supports the current 555M (but that will change with the new 650M)

That's what I thought. I hope something changes and they release a P711 ROCCAT with a 675m. That would be a KILLER notebook.

btw, I just went to their website to check what the Pro series 17" notebook is called (was confused between P711 and P701) and it's no longer there. I hope the website is being updated with the new models now!

Yeah, I agree, sticky this thread! Otherwise we will keep getting threads about "Resellers in UK?", "Resellers in France?", "Resellers in Europe?", etc.
