Chaps,
Any of you guys used airline power with the 8662? And had it work? I've got the Kensington 150Watt adaptor and it powers it up fine when I'm plugged into AC. But use the airline seat power and the only way I can get it to work is to pull the battery out otherwise the green light turns red on the airline seat power socket. Seems like its pulling too much juice?
which whilst isn't ideal does the job you just have to becareful that you don't nudge the cable. I've only tried this on Virgin Atlantic but just wondering if anyone else has used their 8662 with airline power successfully? If so what airline and what power adaptor did you use?
Does anyone know if Clevo/Sager do a blank battery slot cover? As the machine is a bit wobbly without the battery in it.
Cheers,
Neil.

it say 75 W max...
"Most airplane power systems are limited to approximately 75 Watts of power draw per seat. This means that a new 17" laptop, with a power-hungry processor, might not get enough juice to operate. Sometimes the laptop will know not to charge the battery and will just operate via the power, but other times the laptop won't work at all, or will work for a short period of time before tripping the power circuit. You can try taking your battery out all together, or buy a smaller laptop." -
the GTX260M itself draws 75W of power..you can either put the graphics to run on low clock frequencies and also undervolt the processor in order to use it

it draws that max power only, not in idle.
