To be more to the point, a friend of mine is interested in buying the Sager NP 8660.
Do any of you guys no of a reseller in the UK that stock Sagers and if not how hard will it be (customs wise etc) to import from someone in america like Xoticpc.com?
If anyone from UK has imported what steps did you have to go through to get it shipped in?

    any help much appreciated.

www.kobaltcomputers.co.uk is who I've ordered the m860tu with. Rock has also announced one, but it's not avaiable for order on their site when I last checked.

There are some European sellers, like www.mycizmo.com and Eurocom.

Mt personal preference would be to pre order from Kobalt like Petrov and I both have, your other choice will be www.novatech.co.uk who get the units in a fortnights time in order to ship.

Yes, in fact PM Neil@Kobalt on these forums and he might have a solution for you to ship without an OS.

We can send out a system without an operating system - the easiest way to do this is to put an order through and select "bank transfer" as the means of payment. We can then take payment over the phone for the reduced price.

The system still undergoes the same testing cycle so we install a HDD with Windows on, do the testing and then replace it with a formatted HDD. The cost without an OS is simply the configured price minus about £55.
