I saw what was really behind the lcd screen somewhere in this forum, and saw the backlights and all, and I was wondering whether it is possible to somehow tweak it by say, "borrowing" some of the components from a high end lcd screen such as the Qosmio or the Lifebook series and make the Sager screen brighter?

do the clevo/sager screens have the annoying anti-reflective coating? It causes the screen to appear "grainy" or "sparkely". I was wondering because my gateway has the glossy and anti-reflective coating which I just hate. I like the glossy part but not the grainy look.

I have a glossy WUXGA LCD screen.

Looks perfect to me. No graininess or sparkles.
