My W150ER currently has very minor screen damage, so I'd like to replace it.
Firstly, how easy is it to change the screen?
Secondly, would it at all be feasible to put the W550EU IPS screen into it?
Cheers

Should be pretty easy to replace the screen.
Usually just remove the bezel, carefully remove the LVDS cable (if using LVDS, most likely yes). Install the new screen, re-insert cable, re-close bezel.
If the W550EU IPS (sorry, I haven't been able to find the info) uses standard LVDS dual-channel 6-bit signal, there should be no problems.
If it uses the eDP variety (usual on 10-bit panels), then it's harder. Can you fire up AIDA and locate the part numbers of both panels? -
I have no idea what the W550EU panel is, I was hoping someone else would because extensive googling hasn't gotten me anywhere.
The panel I have in my W150 is LG Philips LP156WF1-TLC1, which is LVDS Dual Chanel.
I PM'd someone who did a video review of the W550EU to see if they can find out for me.
If not I'll probably go for the B156HW01 V.7 like you.
