Hello folks, I got a bit of a situation here, i locked my bios with a password some time ago and today when I decided it was time to restore one of my acronis backups i had a bad surprise when i found out that I didn't remember the bloody password so I could change the boot sequence.

Any ideas on how to remove the password ? Im trying to use Cmospwd but since im running Win7 64 bits the proggie seens to get stuck on the ioperm.exe install.

So if you guys have any solutions to this nasty problem, please share, I'm in dire need of help on this one

    Thanks

It's against the forum rules to discuss ways to get round bios protection i'm afraid.
