    Hi,
I bought used Clevo W230SS and there is one strange issue, I never met.
When I remove battery from laptop - even for a while - I need to plug laptop to power supply even for a 1 sec, otherwise laptop won't start. This occures only once - only after removing battery.

    Is this normal ?

It's built in to need a power supply after an EC reset (removing battery and AC).

Thank you for reply, but I don't fully understand.
Such behaviour is normal for Clevo laptops ?
I have Dell D630 with cheapest battery and there is no such issue and I don't remember it in any other laptops too

I found what is EC, but still I don't understand.
I called to user of W230ST and he made a test for me by removing battery for a while.
After putting battery, laptop started normally without power supply. (He has Prema bios).

Maybe I should update EC and BIOS as there are newer ones ?
In normal PC motherboard's cases I don't hesitate, but there I have Prema bios, so I don't know if this is a good solution ?
