    Clevo W230ST - HOUSING REPLACEMENT!!!

    Hello guys,

    I'm looking for any shop where I would be able to find any housing replacement. My screen's housing cracked somehow (the plastic screw holders). I was that stupid, so I was trying to glue it instead of contact the company i bought it from straight away, and I bet this canceled my warranty.

    So, does anyone knows where could I find any housings for clevo? I really need it, as for now tape is holding it. :p

    I would contact the place you got it from anyway. Cracking the bezel typically is not covered under the warranty as they usually don't include accidental damage protection.

    Sorry no place I know of to suggest that sells individual parts.

    I contacted them yesterday, didn't get any replay as for now.

    Private sellers online may have the bezel you're looking for. Your reseller can probably swap it out for you if they do the service, but like Hutsady mentioned, you probably will not fall under warranty service, so there will likely be a parts, service, and shipping charge.

    I did try to contact Clevo by e-mail, they did answer back to me. However, company I bought it from did:
    I've asked if they could contact Clevo and ask about the cost of housing (without replacing, I will do it myself). Let's see what they gonna say. :p

    Hope they will agree for that and it will not be too much.

    They might be able to give an approximate rundown of the cost, but you probably won't be able to get an exact quote until Clevo has assessed it. Good luck with the repair process!
