I bought this computer new about 2 months ago.

I have Windows 7 installed (tried reinstalling it several times).

It seems that when there is high load (e.g I start a game) then the mouse stops responding for 1-2 seconds. The screen keeps going, just the mouse becomes unresponsive for about 1-2 seconds. There is no sounds when this happens (no sounds of usb device disconnecting or reconnecting).
What I also noticed is that the touchpad still works (I can move the mouse cursor with the touchpad).

    - I tried with different mice (and tested with another computer that all of them work). None of them are wireless. Happens during all refresh rates.
    - I reinstalled Windows 7 (genuine edition), all drivers, tried drivers from the notebook manufacturer and also from the device manufacturer.
    - Did memory check etc.
    - Disabled the "allow sleep mode or power saver mode" on the USB ports.
    - Uninstalled and re-installed USB hub.
    - Couldnt find any conflicts or anything.

The odd thing is that it only happens during high load and at random intervals. Also when I start a game and go back to Windows the problem persists in Windows 7.

Anyone have any ideas what this can be or suggestions that might help solve the problem? Would be great appreciated.
I looked around on the internet and on different forums and couldnt find any solution to my problem.

This may be a dumb question but did you try a different USB port? (assume the machine has other ones, dunno as I don't own)
The only other thing I can think of is some type of resource conflict. Like if the USB hub shares IRQ with GPU or some other things maybe.

I would say contact reseller for starts also to see if they have a newer bios which may resolve.

That does sound like a resource conflict to me. Do you have a little hub to try connecting it through?

In Device Manager, use View -> Hidden Devices and see if there are any exclamation marks. You might see PS/2 devices flagged, but those aren't important. Anything else you may need to look into.
