I'm still using one of these old Clevo W370ET Laptops. Some time ago i heard about these legendary and mystical PremaMod BIOS and saw an article that this BIOS also exist for my Laptop model. Is it possible to still get it here somewhere? Google was not my friend in this case. As i heard that Prema is somewhere around here maybe i can get the latest and shiniest ;) version here. Can you help me out?

Maybe there are other Bios Mods than Premas for this Laptop? I know that Premas Mod unlocks many settings in BIOS as the original BIOS is very limited.
I miss the Turbo Boost when Nvidia Graphics is active. I replaced nearly every part in this Laptop with better ones. I replaced the old SSD with a Samsung 840 Pro.
OK this is not the fastest SSD but a 860 Pro will follow :). Second Drive is a 1Tb HGST 7K1000 . Installed new High Performance Patriot Viper 16Gb RAM
with 1600Mhz CL9. Exchanged the old DVD drive. Changed even the old WiFi N150 card and installed the (AC 7260) fastest available card for the half size PCie slot.
The CPU inside now is a I7 3840QM with stock clock of 2.8Ghz and it can boost up to 3.8Ghz but without the Turbo Boost ability I'm loosing much performance.
I know I can activate the Turbo Boost with Throttlestop but I want to have it permanent via BIOS and not as a Software implementation. Another Question is
can somebody explain me why this Laptop has a third RAM Slot designed for Quad CPU only? How can a quad CPU take advantage of this RAM Slot?
Never heard of RAM that is build especially for Quads.

OK, but what is the purpose to have the 3rd slot for quads? Just for more RAM?
Because the 3rd Slot is marked on Mainboard as Quad Core.

Ah. Thanks for clarification. But i don't think i can expect more performance by just adding another 8GB of RAM :)

Nowhere. Prema took everything down because people were selling his stuff.

Does Prema work with resellers like Sager, XMG, Schenker or Nexoc together at the time as this Laptop was released that maybe they can provide me the BIOS?
