I was considering this laptop originally, but due to the single fan cooling, i think it could get a little loud and hot even thought it is one of the only laptops to use Maxwell 860M, also the fact it only has the

Full Range 120W power brick with it, not even the 180w the other 15.6 use or the 230 the higher 17" ones use.

Thanks for the reply, would you happen to know of any other reviews or discussion threads for this laptop, as they seem to be very limited.

Also if anyone has any information of the general build quality of this laptop that would be helpful. Currently deciding between this and the Asus G750JW.

I will be buying this particular machine in the next few weeks...once I sell off what I can and gather the cash. :)

From what I can see, the IC Diamond TIM upgrade is pretty much required for normalized temperatures, otherwise you're dealing with +90*C temps and whatnot. :S

If you could do a unboxing video/thread once you receive it that would be great.

For all considering the 370ss.. i just built one up with a 4700mq and it is running flawless and utterly silent on windows 7. I'd heard horror stories from previous models about fans running crazy. Moderate workload gives around 55C. Wolfenstein new order ramps it up to 85ish with gpu at 85 to 90 with fans spoiling up but nothing you wouldn't expect. I used arctic mx4 on both i am absolutely pleased with. Maintenance access couldn't be easier.. my msi was not nearly as easy. Build quality is ok.. and i prefer is very conservative asthetics. Synaptics TouchPad is as good.. one minor gripe for me is the right hand located ports but only minor. Linux mint runs just as cool and quiet or of box. . Opensuse did require bumblebee for same cool temps and silent fans. Just some feedback. . Absolutely happy with my purchase.

Thanks for the reply. I've since purchased the Sager NP8278-S / Clevo P170SM-A and have been very happy with it :D
