    Hello people.

I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I don't know where else to go. I believe I have the laptop, "Clevo W550SU1", Branded Insys. My problem is that the mainboard is gone, and I want to find a replacement. And I can't seem to find. Anybody can help in finding one?

    Much appreciated.

I'm in Cape Verde, and here, I will never find what I need. I don't mind paying International Shipping.

    Some gorgeous surroundings there.

It's not an easy board to find. You can poke around in the NBR Marketplace and shop around via private sellers. Suppliers will likely not carry it anymore.

Is there anyone local that can do a rework on it?

It depends on which motherboard it used. From what I can see there were 4 possible product codes
    Motherboard EDP - W550SU1 - 6-77-W550SU10-D03-31#10
    Motherboard LVDS D02 - W550SU1 6-77-W550SU10-D02A-4#10
    Motherboard LVDS D03 - W550SU1 6-77-W550SU10-D03-10#10
    Motherboard LVDS D03 wTPM - W550SU1 6-77-W550U10-D03-31#10

I know that PC Specialist have some of the EDP motherboards in stock, but not sure if they sell to end user or ship to where you are.

You could also try contacting one of the service centres

Unfortunatly, there isn't anybody who can rework on it, so my solution is to find another one.

Adbear, you think is there any chance you can ask about the motherboard? He can ship it to Portugal if we reach to an agreement.
    The model is Motherboard LVDS D03 - W550SU1 6-77-W550SU10-D03-10#10

As I said PC specialist only have the EDP board which is the first one on the list I gave which doesn't match your motherboard.

I would try contacting one of the support centres on from the link I posted. Goldenstar in the UK may be able to help
