    Hi,

Does anyone know of any stockists for the above product as I have unfortunately managed to damage mine!

Tried Google and a few ebay places but not had much luck!

    Thanks!

@scopes15 A lot of resellers may not stock parts for this model anymore.

    Have you tried RJtech?

Do you guy know if I would be able to "downgrade" the laptop and purchase the HD screen with the LVDS connections and cable - would this work?

Yes, no problem. Sure you want a HD? Most are bit lacking in quality compared to their 1080p versions.

Could also check with Goldenstar, CEG and XMG. The first is an actual part seller and the other two are known to be willing to supply parts on request.

While not perfect, turning up your windows scaling may be a better option due to panel quality differences mentioned above.

To add, if you're sure you want the more limiting screen res, you could try to find a genuine LG LP156WHA 1366x768 IPS screen. Make sure the particular variant has the correct connector and form factor, and make sure it's genuine and not "compatible". Even then no guarantees it'll work, just that I think it's likely. And they're hard to find, and not necessarily cheaper than 1920x1080 IPS. You might just want to stick with 1920x1080 IPS (72% NTSC) screens.
