Hey all, I purchased a Clevo W650SR from Cyberpower PC about 8 months ago and I've finally decided to try and replace the stock keyboard since I find it unresponsive and difficult to type with. I was wondering if anyone else has replaced their stock keyboard and could point me in the right direction for a decent replacement. I read this thread earlier http://forum.notebookreview.com/sag...s-chiclet-backlit-keyboard-p150em-p170em.html and was thinking about trying out this keyboard if I can find it/confirm it's compatible with my model. Thanks!

Do you mean replace the keyboard or the laptop itself? Not interested in another stock keyboard since they're annoying to type on.

Yeah not interested in getting another stock keyboard, I don't think Clevo has alternate keyboards except for the backlit which I hear has the same issue. Thank you for the response however.

EDIT: I will try another keyboard from Clevo since it's under warranty but I would rather get another keyboard that I know works.

The SteelSeries keyboards only worked on models which already had a backlit keyboard. Ones that dont like yours wont have the proper port to support it. I havent seen any alternate keyboards that will work.
