I currently have an HP Envy 17 that I purchased a couple of years ago... an I love the backlit keyboard. I tried several other laptops before this one that had backlit keyboards, but they all had excessive bright light emitting around the keys, which was very distracting. On my Envy 17, their is no light coming out... well... maybe it is just ever so slight. Here are a couple of pics:

I need a second laptop and like the the Clevo W670SRQ build. It seems to be fairly light and will serve my purpose... IF... and it's a BIG IF... the illuminated keyboard is not too bright.
Can anyone take a couple of shots of it for me? Is is motion activated like the ENVY 17 or always on? Is the brightness controllable?
Many thanks!

Come on ... I know someone has to own this machine and can help me out. Or am I in the wrong place for help?

Its actually a pretty new model, about a month old so not many people may have one that they can take a pic for you. At least not many people who frequent NBR.
Keep in mind most places have a decent return policy so if you dont like the lights you can return it. -
You sell them... you don't have access to one?
Perhaps I need to contact vendors and see if they can help me. I hate to buy one and have to go through the hassle of sending it back just because of the keyboard... hence my reasoning for hoping to find a an owner who could help me out. -

They are built directly at Sager, we only get them to our location if they need additional custom work done here.
I'll keep an eye out for one and take some pics if one does come through but we dont see very many of them here. -
After speaking with Sager, they advised me that I would likely not be happy with the keyboard on the 6670 and would more than likely prefer the 8275 or higher that has individual keys lit like my ENVY 17, instead of just white light under the entire keyboard. After looking closer at both, I agree.

8275:
Although it is about 2lbs heavier and cost $500-600 more. -
Hmm... also do not care for the layout of the 8275 keyboard. I am not a fan of having to shift or ctrl to use the Home and End keys... and the Delete key is not in the right place. That is a terrible key layout for me.
