Hi again.
It also looks like the updated drivers for Intel 5300 Wireless are making troubles. I would like to solve this situation as well.
The computer just crashed. And I experience the wireless card disconnecting and reconnecting.
Can you please recommend proper drivers. Which drivers work flawlessly?
I just want to update the drivers to benefit from new or improved features. ://
This is what windows said after the crash...

Which drivers are you using now? Have you installed the latest ones directly from Intel? I tried to find a link just now but their page seems to be down, this is the closest to the drivers page that I could find, you can navigate from there Intel® Ultimate N WiFi Link 5300 and Intel® WiFi Link 5100 Products

The package version has increased/changed but that's just because it added support for other devices. The driver files used by the 5000 are EOL for few years and not been touched since.
So while the site may show a later date the actual driver will remain the same.
I've had Intel engineer basically tell me don't bother updating though because the newer software package doesn't work as well with the older cards.
Your best bet may be get an Intel 6300 or something else. Though the 6300 is about to hit EOL too it has had a recent driver as of August at least.
I've got some machines with the 5000 series and they just don't work well with newer routers and equipment. 5000 series wasn't even official 802.11n, it's based on draft.
