I don't think Clevo/Sager will ever update the driver page of the W860CU since it is already phased out, what now?

It doesn't suck for me, it's actually better :)

according to that link, if you have a license for 2009, 2011 will unlock on install. I bought 2009 separately (the 570RU came with 5.x which wasn't properly 7 compatible) and am trying it now

Just a thought: Did you try to download the trial 2011 version and see if it will honor the existing license?

WARNING: I HAVEN'T TRIED THIS -- ATTEMPT AT YOUR OWN RISK

Welcome To UPEK - Support - Customer Support - Protector Suite 2011 trial

I'm going to ask Clevo and my reseller to support this. Perhaps if they get enough demand, they will support the new version.

So you just install the 2011 trial version over the 2009 (without uninstalling it)?

Ok. Confirmed that it is working if you install it over the 2009 version from Clevo :)
