Having a little problem with my new W860CU basically the CPU fan doesn't appear to be work.

It's a got a 720QM CPU with 8Gb Ram and running Windows 7 I have used CPU ID and it gets to 90c and the fan doesn't run soon after the laptop will lock up

The heat sink is fine and is getting hot and the paste looks ok

The VGA fan runs at start up but the CPU doesn't I have swapped the fan with the VGA one and confirmed that the fan unit is working

Using the 1.0.11 bois and it doesn't have any fan setting

has anyone else seen this issue ?

I haven't got that issue. As I'm no fan expert, my best advice is have the fan sent for RMA from your reseller.

It's not the fan unit it's the motherboard I'm sure

Best of all it's going to cost me 290 USD for shipping both ways to RJtech for a machine that I have using for 3 hours to install a OS on

    Not pleased
