    is there any application that allow you to do so?

    like, something similar like smcFanControl for the Mac, is there one on the Window side?

    You can change the fan speed for the VGA fan by editing the vBIOS.

    No. Sager apparently is working on a BIOS that makes silent mode actually work, but that's the best you can hope for if you won't flash your card.

    Fn+1 doesn't do anything on my machine. Is that the silent mode switch for yours? There's a silent mode button on the LED display, but the mode itself is disabled in BIOS.
