Hi guys. I owned a Clevo W86CU with a GTX 285M. I would like to use a GTX 760M or GTX 770M ... Would that work? Or maybe GTX 670M?

    Greetings from Germany

6xxM and 7xxM cards are not compatible with the W86CU as far as I know.

Often times the MXM slot is the same (relative to the age of the model/series), but with new motherboards and revisions of motherboards comes new firmware. It's this new firmware - both on the system board and the video cards - that inhibits interchangeability or upgrades.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that sometimes adjustments to voltage for the card have a play in compatibility also.
