    Hi all!
I bought Malibal Satori laptop based on W870CU (see config in my profile). After 3 weeks of usage fingerprint scanner and web-camera suddenly disappeared from devices. Support service says it could be USB controller problem. So I need screen from windows device manager (USB controllers section) of another W870CU to check the number of installed controllers/hubs and compare it with my laptop. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate. Can anybody help me with this screen?

For the webcam you need to activate it by Fn+f10 perhaps?

Yep. I know. Hotkey software shows messages about camera switching on/off but Bison Webcam app and skype couldn't found camera device and it is not present in device manager. It is worked before (I used it) and fingerprint too. For now they has no any signs of life and disappeared from devices. Yes, I reinstalled drivers several times and tried to find them under linux (just to prevent future questions).

    Hey,

If you have done all of the above things, and have looked for them under linux, where a quick lsusb and lspci should show them (I believe they are both USB devices), then I would contact Malibal to get a tech support case opened up as it sounds like there is something hardware related that needs to be looked at to maybe get the parts replaced.
