Turned on(Clevo W870CU) one day, mouse did not work, and keyboard laggy,(no sticky buttons)
I format/reinstalled OS, same problem. But does occasionally work, briefly.

Thinking it could be the battery or power supply, removed battery, same problem. OR removing charger. Doing my head in, so hard to type properly.

Anybody have suggestions, I WOULD send it back for repair, but I'm out of the country for couple months.

Update: it now says its plugged in charging, but no life in battery, but works of battery fine.

    Thank you

Sounds like possibly the keyboard ribbon cable may not be connected properly hence the intermittend use. Could also be a bad keyboard or keyboard controller??

I assume an external keyboard works fine?

    Thanks

The keyboard ribbon cable is underneath the keyboard, pages 41-42 of the service manual (in my sig)

    Hi,

Were you able to resolve this issue?

As I have the same symptoms and had to disconnect my keyboard to get it working again.

Typing this on an external usb kb.

    Kind Regards,
    Arno
