This laptop had died on me. The cells swolled and broke the casing on the battery pack. I tried seperating the battery pack and removing the cells so I could maybe just use the casing, but I was unable to salvage it.

I have recently repaired the laptop and have it back working, I just want to fill the void and hopefully keep the laptop from wabbling.

So, I am looking to purchase a battery (W870BAT, W880BAT, W870BAT-3, 6-87-W870S-421A). Working or not as I am just trying fill the battery compartment.

I would be interested if anyone has alternative ideas.

    Thanks

Measuring it and 3d printing a blank would be the only other option.

Don't think they still have batteries for that series, unless you can find something on Amazon/Ebay. If you just want something physically in there, you'll have to just make something that shape and put it in there. If you don't have access to a 3D printer like above, you can probably also cut something out of a larger solid block to fill it in.
