Just wanted to let you know I am very pleased with AVADirect. I bought my Clevo W870CU from there on 10/27/2009 and it shipped on 11/12/2009. I received it on 11/18/2009.

If I just order a laptop from a shop and it arrives, that's really just normal expectation. But I had a problem with the order that I placed. I don't know if it is my fat fingers, me not paying attention, or the website bug, but the configuration was not correct in the email confirmation that I got.

I wanted the Wifi 5300 card, and no OS. But the email confirmation said no wireless and MICROSOFT, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Edition, OEM. Also I changed my mind and wanted a Blu-ray drive after thinking about it. At first, I said I won't watch movies on it since battery life is next to nothing but it seems like buying it without Bu-ray is like getting a Benz without leather seats.

So I changed the order and the AVADirect guy Misha Troshin let me change the parts that I wanted to change without any hassle or penalty.

The computer came with a free copy of Cyberlink DVD Suite version 5. and the Blu-Ray addition too. Not sure if this is from Clevo or only AVA customers but this saved me some money since I found out windows 7 doesn't play Blu-ray natively.

Sooooo in closing, I recommend them and think their prices are competitive too. Nice folks.

Cyberlink is from Clevo/Sager, but it sounds like you had a good experience! Thanks for sharing that, not a lot of AVADirect information around the forum, compared to other resellers.
