I ordered this laptop from notebookguru.de (i am form finland) and it was my greatest mistake.. Bluescreens started coming after 5weeks (yes i got this when year turned to 2011) So i sent email to notebookguru and waited F*****g half year and even now i havent got any response -,- fu** u guru.. anyway i took this laptop to our local computer store and it had motherboard and videocard broken.. so because notebookguru didnt answer i sent this to clevos main office in germany and they repaired this laptop no bluescreen after that but this problems still exist.. that i randomly shuts down and giving that Event 41 kernel-power error.. i feel little bit sad because it didnt fix this problem.. what i could be? i have updated my drivers, cleaned registery, tried high performance energy options whitout effect.. and its not overheating i have coolingpad (my custom made) and i clean my laptop from dust really often..

it is still randomly shutting down but only when i am gaming but more rarely when i installed those drivers

And after random boot it says that i have to restart my computer again and keep saying it all of the time ?

    Hey MAdx

I've had a similar problem with my desktop, I first tried updating all my drivers for every component within the comp. When that didn't work I tried reformatting and reinstalling windows. Finally after all that I decided to update the BIOS and that finally did the trick.

I'm not sure if that will help you with your problems and there are inherent risks when updating the BIOS just to let you know.

    Hope your problem gets fixed!

Oh, this might mean you need to reinstall your hotkeys drivers. Another forum member just experienced something similar not too long ago.

it seems that shutdown happen only when gaming and it is still that kernel problem and i found link for newest bios but this link is broken ftp://cftp.clevo.com.tw/ALLBIOS/W8xxCU/W87CU_BIOS12.zip or it just dont load.. my current version of bios is 1.00.18

yea i am disappointed.. i got my first bsod (IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN_EQUAL) .. and it seems that shutdowns come more often too.. now i think do they really changed my videocard and motherboard because in the paper what i got there was written that "bios Reset" i am confused and mad..

    Hi,

I am experiencing your exact same problem, would you believe even after a motherboard swap!!!

Did you ever get to the bottom of why this problem is occurring?

    Hope you can help.

    Thanks.
