I know that sale of ES processors are not tolerated in the NBR marketplace, but what about systems that started out as a barebone?

How would you sell a system with an ES processor?

Technically you are not supposed to, but I don't think anyone will stop you if you choose that path.

I think its best if you PM a mod or something with the question, although I would like to know the answer...

Also, consider buying OEM processors that cost 100$ more, that way you dont have to deal with legal stuff or whatever.

Just post the processor specs like (intel core 2 duo T9300 2.5ghz 6mb cache) and then say for more detailed processor info to message by PM, that way you can accomplish your objective of selling your laptop and not break the NBR rules, as there is no way NBR can have a problem with things being done like that because there is no particular info regarding it being a QS or ES being discussed openly.

What I'm trying to also prevent is the buyer feeling shortchanged for buying a system with ES processor(if such things are important to a particular buyer)--

Anyway, I'm only looking into 12 months from now, should I decide to sell a laptop that did not come with an OEM CPU.

Thank you for your answers-- I believe I will leave it up to the time when I do decide to sell--

No system to sell yet, just testing the waters to see what's acceptable and what will get you banned.
