This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    ... do you think they read this forum? :rolleyes:

    They really need to introduce a back-lit keyboard to their upper range notebooks. And does anyone know why manufacturers seem to limit their 19"-20" notebooks to AMD-based offerings?

    Mostly, because there really aren't too many options available for SLI or Crossfire configurations with Intel Core 2 Duo processors. Those options have only just recently shown up, so most SLI capable machines are still AMD ones.
