Hi folks. I haven't bought a gaming laptop in many years, but I really liked Clevo-based systems back in the day. My sister is in the market for a 15" mid-range (~800 to 1000 bucks) system that will be able to play most games released within about 4 years or so. She also does some video editing and such.
Is a Clevo system still a good option relative to others? Can she get what she needs at that price point? Thanks much!

I think a Clevo system is a decent choice. They don't have the best aesthetics, but Clevo laptops tend to last many years and are relatively easy to repair.TikiPrime likes this. -
Look for the fundamentals first CPUGPU and then go from there figuring you can do RAM for 32GB @ $100 / upgrade the WIFI to an Intel AX210 $25 / NVME 1TB ~$130... this is a good first upgrade to do to any system for speed / reliability.TikiPrime likes this. -
Thanks. What current GPU should she want for her price range?

The extra Vram on the 2060 will help moving forward as well.
