To xotic, Eurocom and other interested sellers :).

Since nvidia 8xxx cards are out, is the price for a 7950 gtx falling down a bit? Any upgrade plans for replacing the 7900 available? For how much?

And what about a C2D 2ghz? Mine has only a CD...

    Thanks!

    Edit:
    Meh, Eurocom still lists the 7950 @ 695$ and the C2D 2ghz @ 555$...

I am on the same boat, the 7950GTX (Clevo module) is still not dropping as much as we would like it to for our previous generation Clevo gaming notebooks.

Not only that, there is still a major backorder of these high-end modules for those that want to get the best videocard for their system.

You can order the card through:
    - Sager
    - Eurocom
    - some other Clevo resellers

It will go for around $450-500 on average. Still expensive for the performance difference.

Mmmm that's a sucker. UT3 is on the edge of being released, and though the demo plays somewhat nicely on my 1.8gh CD and my 7900 (1600x1024), having an upgrade path would have been nice...

Oh well, guess we'll have to wait for the 88xx to come out, and then maybe the price will fall.

    UT3 runs fine on my 7800GTX. :)

So I am not too worried.
