Hi guys, let me get this straight:
m860tu have different revisions;
m860ETU are for quad cores cpus.
This is what i know.
Now my questions:
Eurocom Montebello m860tu supposedly works with Qx9300 BUT they still call and label it m860tu, not ETU. This is what i have, and thats what they're selling online (look, they put gtx 280m as well in there, and im running an FX 3700m!).
Now ive been reading around about different mobo revisions, and seems that some m860tus can be quad enabled WITHOUT being an ETU at all.
Note that im running an x9100 with no probs at all, check sig.
How do i check what mobo revision i have in order to install a QX9300?
Someone said to remove the backpanel, remove rams, check the stickers below them. Along the serial numbers, theres a little sticker which says Rev.3.
So, any ideas?
Thanks!

QAUDs are supported by ETU only.
Noone officialy claiming M860 as ETU, but TU only.
That's why it may looks like that "some TU supports quads". -

Ok but how i can be sure that mine is compatible then?

Just call Eurocom and ask what they sold you.

This is the official Clevo Co R&D department reply :

Older revision boards can be reworked to support Quad.
