I´m having issues with the max fans on my ZM. It seems after my unintentional factory reset in August they wont stick. I thought it was supposed to? In Vermintide in particular, which is very stressful for my CPU, I can find the temps at 90C+ or even 95C+ and the fans are running a notch down from max. I start out at max speed and the fans rev down sometimes during the session and don´t go up to max again, even when temps climb to 95C+.

Apart from trying other versions of Clevo Control Center, anything I can do?

    Uninstall CCC. That's what's doing that. ;)

Oh, I thought CCC/Hotkey was needed to be able to use Fn+1? Will try that.

No. FN+1 is built in to the hardware/firmware level.

Quite right, working without Clevo Control Center.

Unfortunately this didn´t help. I´m on your system BIOS which was the latest in August, without CCC and the fans still rev down during gameplay when I start with Fn+1.
Max temp in Vermintide goes up to 93C running all cores at 4.0 GHz. I probably need to clean it but the bigger issue is the fans in the first place.

EDIT: The vBIOS is the new one, BIOS is from May 2015. Still, it worked fine until 4 months ago.

Just a small update on this. Unsurprisingly it was in good need of a cleaning and a repaste. I´ve shaved of 20C and 10C on DA: Inquisition and Vermintide respectively, they both hit 95+ before.

The underlying issue is still that the fans revved down, but it doesn´t seem to happen now. Maybe it only triggers once it has been above 90C. As I´m typing this, at 36C, the fans are still at full blast. Before they revved down as soon as I closed a game. Fingers crossed, knock on wood etc..
