    Hello...

I bougth a clevo p150sm with the following configuration:
    Clevo P150SM
    Intel Wireless-AC 7260 867Mbps Dual Band + Bluetooth 4.0
Lindy HDD/SSD Slim Caddy 12.7mm SATA
    Intel Mobile Core i7-4700MQ 2.4GHz 6MB
    2x Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 1600MHz
    2x ADATA XPG SX300 128GB SATA3
    AMD Radeon HD 8970M 4GB DDR5
    One sata ssd drive 250GB
    One Harddrive (mechanic) 500GB

The two msata are in raid 0.

I have a few questions about linux with this PC
I sucessefully installed ubuntu latest version, and I managed to install ATI drivers so that I can turn off the discrete graphics and use the core I7 GPU.
But it makes a lot of noise from the fans is there a way to make it more silent in linux?

The second question is there a way to control the keyboard color of the leds from linux? (I prefer the white color but the default is blue)

Is there any recommendation in how to install linux? I hafe the UEFI turned off and secure boot is also disabled. Is there a way to have this on and still use linux?

Another thing how can i configure ubuntu to use the trackpad with the tap and drag (with locking drags) option?

Any other recomendation or must do things in linux in order to work with this pc?

Also in windows some times (from 15 to 15 minutes) when I am watching a movie with the discrete GPU turned off it makes some noise with the fans is there also a way to controll this noise?

The fans are controlled via the EC which is OS agnostic.

Linux can be installed with UEFI but not secure boot as far as I know.

You can give these a shot clevo_wmi | Free software downloads at SourceForge.net, written by a previous customer who wanted to make it available to anyone. They were originally written for the EM series but wont hurt to try for the SM.

By the way I amtring to controll the noise of the fans in linux, does any one know of a way to controll the fans on linux?

I do not mind if it based on terminal.

It can be by changing CPU speed.

I just what to be able to put it in no noise mode so I can watch a movie in my bed without the fan noise.

But in windows there is a application that puts the computer in silent mode.

In windows when i am just browsing and watching a movie the laptop is almost silent.

I was wondering if it is possible by changing the Cpu setting or any other way in linux.
