    Hello people!
If someone of you have the bios for non G-sync version please share!
Let me explain what is going on here.
I need a powerful machine for video editing when I'm not at home. I'm using Mac OS on my PCs. Newer Mac OS is not supporting Nvidia gpu so I temporally installed 2x r9 m495x gpu cards from my old p370em.
The problem is: during start up and in Windows I have those horizontal lines (click to enlarge)
    logo.jpg text.jpg

I have zero problems once in Mac OS. Sometimes I need to use VMix under windows and using internal lcd would be nice. External LCDs are no problem.

I think the problem is, maybe I'm wrong, the bios with G-sync support.

Another symptom: tried 4k panel+4k cable, the screen is black.

    Thank you guys!

Hello I know this issue very well . 1 solution is to change the panel to a g sync one or to a non g sync one depending on what one is in the laptop now . Stick with the 1080p screen or if you have the 4k edp cable 40pin then use that

Do not try flashing the vbios on the GPU ( you will kill it definitely ) and don't bother trying to change the laptop motherboard BIOS ( you will get the same issue again )

And that is BAKED's BIOS iirc on the p870dmg you loos the g sync feature when flashing that bios on the 870dmg ( I have it on all my p870dmg systems )

    https://repo.palkeo.com/clevo-mirror/P870DMG/
    Username and password both repo

BUT USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK ( I DONT THINK YOU NEED TO OR SHOULD ! )

Hello Damin! Thank for your inputs, appreciate that!
SO, I bought it as DMG so I assume it has G-sync bios by default when it comes and even then I have had those lines. So I updated to Baked version v2 from here:
    https://www.techinferno.com/index.php?/files/file/103-p870dmg-new-version/

    Nothing changed.
Since I have AMD card there is no vbios that support g-sync.

What you mean by that? SInce I flashed Baked's v2 version I have no more g-sync? In that case the presence of line is strange, right?

The BIOS probably has different panels whitelisted for G-Sync.

Maybe I'm wrong, I was thinking the DM version is without G-sync so no such a whitelist. And to get a DM version it's enough to flash the DMG version with DM bios, am I wrong?
    Thank you!

Got to be careful mixing and matching bios files with a g-sync vbios/card.

I'd like to avoid mixing so would you be so kind to provide me the non g-sync bios?
    Thanks!

Your BAKED BIOS has got rid of GSynce already

The Clevo repo link I sent above has both p870dm & g

My advice is change that AMD gpu it can't be worth it pick up a 980m or 1070m

If you can sell the ones you have and get a 970m or 1060 then that would be ideal.

As I stade in the first post, I need it for my hackintosh setup, no recent nvidia gpu has drivers for Mac OS. Need to stick to amd that works just fine in mac os without those lines.
Now I need to understand why windows cant fix those lines and mac can.
    Thank you again Damin!

Hey all, I have the Digital Storm Banshee which is their take on the Clevo P870DM-G, Does anyone know anything about getting the thunderbolt 3.0 to work? I've tried doing all the bios update/driver stuff and I can't get it to recognize the thunderbolt port and use it at the correct speed. It only recognizes my presonus audio interface as USB 1.1 speed -_- so tired of trying to get this to work, but I feel like it will work eventually.

You have those lines because P870DM is not compatible with AMD Gpu`s.
It`s a wonder that they even posted.
