p950hp3 could have a gtx1060 3gb? are there differences with p957? heat pipes?

 

Looks interesting. Standout is the height and weight which are significantly under the P600 series. Really competing with the new Aero15 and GS63 on that front.

Clevo have usually reserved the 3rd digit for chassis variations. ie, the P655 is a plastic version of the P650.

The N857 uses the same digit and just has a LED "gamer" logo on the lid so that's probably what that is.

 

I always like the smell of fresh models in the morning

Interesting suggested spec there with support for Nvidia surround, that would show you how the outputs are arranged

 

Looking forward to this model. It looks like a solid option to consider among the P65x and the N85x offerings (and a nice competitor to similarly spec'ed systems).

I don't know about smelling it in the morning, though...

 

This seems more like a gaming-business hybrid. Fingerprint, TPM etc. PTP is precision touchpad? In the other thread John, I think, mentioned Thunderbolt, but it isn't mentioned in the specs, are these specs official, if it had Thunderbolt they wouldn't forget to mention it clearly, right? Does this come in 17.3 inches too?

The latter's keyboard do get hot under sustained CPU load...concern for CPU intense game/application

If you thin the chassis you loose some fin area hence the extended piece but the area should be more over all still.

 

Don't worry, the 17" P-Series 'BGA slim' variants will have a different naming scheme and feature set and follow a bit later...
