i have ordered the p150em, and about to pay tomorrow. my final question is how reliable are clevo/sager motherboards? I have had 2 asus laptops before and they both lasted over 4 years. The good thing is i havent seen many clevo/sager motherboard problems on the forums. I really only want to 1year warranty because the 2year is another $90 after tax. so any suggestions would be great.

Also, say the motherboard dies after 1 year warranty, how much would a motherboard cost to replace

I reckon you'll be fine. I've had a few Sagers now and all of them have lasted for some time.

    I don't know what you'v seen, what they've done.

Yet this is the biggest Sager/Clevo forum in the world and there only 4 threads regarding motherboard problems on this forum.. and they all got fixed.

As columbosoftserve said: "I reckon you'll be fine."

Especially if you buy from a good Clevo/Sager reseller, as laptop are checked and double checked for problems now a days ;)

My W860CU had a few problems that nobody could ever explain.

-The graphics card (GTX 285m) froze and BSODed whenever I would do some specific things, and the only solution was to use 2+ year old drivers.
-The AC adapter got fried twice so I had to buy replacements both times.
-The mobo broke for an unknown reason after ~3 years, there was a small burned & melted component on it.

I had it plugged in practically 24/7, so that might have something to do with it. Also the GPU problem was common for the 285m GTX, you may even find topics about it from google. It might also be that something was defective and caused things to break. I don't know, and nobody else does either.
