    Clevo w230st brightness dims when I watch videos and play games, and brightens back up when I stop, why?

    This adaptive brightness thing is driving me crazy, whenever I play league or watch a video the brightness goes down to like 40% and whenever I stop or alt tab onto the desktop or the webpage the brightness adjusts back up to max. Why is this happening?

    because the Clevo Control Center switches into power mode and that maybe set to another brightness level.
    Set it to use a custom profile with brightness on max...

    If you mean custom profile = User defined, I do have it on user defined with the brightness on max. Also, why would the screen dim when I'm playing games? Shouldnt it get brighter if it was going into pwoer mode?
