Hi to everyone! I have the clevo w870cu CLEVO - Products
and I have a problem with my screen. The laptop is relatively new (I bought it about two months ago) but something is clearly wrong with the screen. My problem is that on the top right of the screen the colours appear to fade away and only black remains in an area. Look at the pictures to see yourselves.

What do you believe this problem is? Is it a backlight issue, an inverter problem or maybe something else? Can I do something to fix it?

I hope you bought it pre-built from one of the smaller boutique shops because that definitely needs to be RMA'd. Hell even if you didn't buy it pre-built, you should be able to use the manufacturers warranty on that. Don't try and fix it, send it in immediately.

Thanks for your answers! Thankfully it was nothing, the blackness has gone now and the screen is perfect again. I had put something heavy on the screen for long time and it pressured it and this is the reason it appeared. But after one day everything is ok!

False alarm guys it appeared again. If it was from pressure shouldn't it have disappeared and never appeared again? Maybe it is something different? What is your opinion? It appeared in the exact spot as before.
    Does the waranty covers this?
