The problems I had with 6970m crossfire were on a i7 960 and then i7 970 as well...
-
i7 980 & Tirenz' 970 is no mobile CPU
-
To bad now, since i got me a p370em with 7970m CF
But, my wife will likely keep the x7200 further, and any news regarding the use of 7970m CF in the x7200 ? -
Yes, he has - and Myrsprett even got SLI to work:

Today I received my GTX 680m´s... will install them this evening and then put up some benches and testing.
As far as the 7970m x-fire:
Look at that from Eurocom:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Clevo-X7200-...7?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item1c2b68925bIn
In the description it says:
No Audio (external audio via USB possible)
No HDMI
No Warm Boot (system must be completely shut down to reboot correctly)
So, that´s really no option, I think... -
Good luck on installing them Tirenz!
Can't wait to hear your story on how it went and which driver you can use etc. as well as benches!
Oh and yeah I got my single 680M working, runs without a problem as answered in the PM I sent you.
