Hi All,
I m planning to get a 8150 with glossy finish. Is there any color calibration that needs to be done. I checked out Xoticpc and they have a sypder3 color calibration as part of the customization. Is it worth it?

It's worth it if you're getting the 95% screen and professional calibration is important. You can always calibrate it yourself by eye- though it won't match up for exact color reproduction.
There are profiles posted by other members that will get you close to calibrated, but because every screen and usage is different you can only have a perfect calibration if it's done specifically for your machine. -

Agree with Malibal. It would be something that you would want to take advantage of if you plan on doing some professional photography and need the colors to be as accurate as possible. Otherwise you can use the built-in options to adjust it manually if you wish
Note that it is software-based, though, so if you had plans to reformat your computer at any time, you'll want to back up the color profile so you can reinstall it after formatting. -
Thks for the prompt reply guys... now need to choice who to get it from
