Compal HEL80 and HGL30 being sold be Sager

Hey all,

I was typing up a Clevo Resellers thread (hopefully Sticky quality), and ran into an interesting find.

Sager seems to not be exclusively selling Clevo models anymore. They are now carrying some Compal models... HEL80 and HGL30.

Its not too surprising since Clevo made somewhat of a mistake by not making gaming notebooks under 17"... which Sager probably decided to fill that gap by getting the "bank for the buck" Compal gaming notebooks.

 

Wow, that's interesting. Good find. I thought Clevo was going to come out with some new 15.4" notebooks next year; hopefully that will happen.

I hope they realize the folly of not releasing a gaming (or semi gaming) notebook in the 14 and 15.4" categories where the bulk of consumer sales are at. hopefully next year we'll see something interesting from Clevo I really like the look of their 12" widescreen model

 

Donald mentioned that there should be some releases next year from Clevo in the 15.4" gaming market. Not sure about 14.1" though.
