I'm new to the world of Clevo, and I'm trying to see which vendors give the best value for the configuration I'm looking for. Unfortunately the stickied reseller guide looks like it hasn't been updated since 2008, so I wasn't sure how much had changed in three years. (Some of the links to vendors' websites even go to domain-squatters now.)

I've mostly been figuring it out by googling "W170HN" or "P150HM" a lot to find the 2011 models. Does anyone know a better, more up-to-date source of information on who/where sells the new Clevo-based notebooks? (I'm not even sure if every vendor actually advertises the barebones model it uses on its website, so googling isn't super-reliable.)

Anyway, for others' sake: what I've gathered is that most of the U.S. resellers that I found so far have similar or identical pricing models, except for AVADirect. So far as I can tell, it seems to be the black sheep of resellers: it has a higher price for base configurations, but the upgrade options are generally cheaper as well as being more flexible.

For example, these are the prices for the P150HM that I found:

If anyone can point out any vendors that I've missed who are selling the new models, I'd be eternally grateful.

Start a price matching war on all the vendors that way you can lower the cost. Also if you are a student or a military member, ask if they can give you a discount for that. Pay them by cash on Paypal if its available - more discounts. Its much better if you dont just rely on the starting config since it'll only give you a little bit of savings.

EDIT: Avoid buying from Sagernotebook.com, you'll get better support from the resellers.

One thing you might want to note is that ALL Sager Authorized Resellers are required to post the same pricing on their website. If you do not see that they are offering the same prices on the website it is either a typo or something....

What you can do is contact these resellers and get their offer that includes shipping and everything else out the door , as they say, then you can compare who is giving the overall best deal that you like best. :)
